I have also found Google satellite view (and street view) pretty useful for finding or confirming wild camping spots. But to be honest as we drive around up here, there are opportunities everywhere. The stop in Glen Coe we used on the way up was very peaceful, with just us and one other van. (well, peaceful until late the following morning when we were flooded with coaches and dozens of tourists snapping away!) It is at 56.6646619,-5.038924 and is on Park4night.
